Mike Dunford
His passing skills and quiet leadership helped the 1965 Blue Devils earn the WSUC championship. He gained all-conference honors and was selected team co-captain his senior year. Many of his single season and career rushing and passing records still stand today. Records include highest completion percentage, 66 percent; most yards gained rushing and passing, 1,446; and most touchdown passes, 16.
Barney Klecker
While at Stout, he was a four-time letter winner in both track and cross country and was selected most valuable runner in 1973, his senior year. Following graduation, he went on to gain national attention in marathon and snowshoe racing. Two-time winner of the Klondike snowshoe race. Currently holds the world record in the 50-mile run. Has competed in more than 75 marathons.
Nick Misch
One of the rare athletes to sign contracts in two professional sports -- football and baseball. He was a three-year letter winner in both baseball and football and was named most valuable in each. He was an all-conference halfback in 1970 and all-conference outfielder in 1971. He has coached highly successful high school teams in both sports.
