Jules Butcher
Almost single handedly led the Blue Devils to a tie for the conference track championship with La Crosse in 1972. He lettered in track in 1970, 1971 and 1972 and was selected most valuable on the squad in each of those years. He also lettered in cross country. Track specialties were the long and triple jumps and the intermediate and high hurdles.
William Heidemann
Returned from the Vietnam war to lead the Blue Devils to a conference basketball championship and a trip to the national tournament in 1969. Led the conference in scoring for the 1967-68 season. Most valuable player and captain. Holds record for most points scored in a single game, 42, and highest career scoring average, 19.
James Warrington
Football tackle. Known for his tenacious play. Led team by example. Was selected for all district and all conference honors in 1965, 1966 and 1967. Received All-American honorable mention in each of those years. Was a member of the 1965 championship team. Played semi-pro football in Michigan following his graduation.
