Title III Grant Awarded

Menomonie, Wis. --- University of Wisconsin-Stout has received a federal Title III Part A grant for $1,750,000 for a new program to improve student retention and graduation rates, as well as establish and implement a system for the assessment of student learning outcomes.

The five-year Strengthening Institutions Program Grant will be used to strengthen advisement, retention, technology integration and assessment efforts across campus.

The Title III program states that funds from the program may be used for planning, faculty development and establishing endowment funds. Administrative management and the development and improvement of academic programs are also supported.
