e-Portfolio Learning Initiative
Goal #2: Establish and implement a system of assessment of student learning outcomes.
This year's e-Portfolio Institute focused on:
- Review of current “assessment in major” plans
- Explore and determine e-portfolio strategy
- Develop assessment electronic portfolio plan
- Create an action plan for implementing an e-portfolio component(s) into the program
We offered an institute that specifically focused on Goal 2 of the Title III grant and the e-Portfolio as a learning assessment tool. The e-Portfolio Institute was designed for program teams - program director and up to 4 core instructors.
The e-Portfolio Institute was held June 5-6, 2007.
Below are the specific programs that were identified for the 2007 e-Portfolio Institute:

- Applied Science
MSAP Program - Art
- Dietetics
Internship Program - Food Systems and Technology
- Golf Enterprise Management
- Information Technology Management
- Psychology
- Retail Merchandising and Management
Downloading and Extracting Your e-Portfolio:
- Follow the link for your program’s e-Portfolio
- At “File Download” screen, select “SAVE”
- Save to your desktop
- At the “Download Complete” screen, select “CLOSE”
- Go to your desktop
- Right-click on the zipped e-Portfolio folder
- Select “Extract All”
- On “Extraction Wizard” screen, select “Next”
- On the “Select a Destination” screen select “Next”
- On the “Extraction Complete” screen select “Finish”
