Working with Tables in Contribute
Tables are really cool, especially when you use them so subtly that your reader doesn't know you're using tables. This page consists of six main topics relating to tables. Use their titles here to link to the topic of your choice.
- Table Menus — Tools for accessing various creation and editing features for tables.
- Inserting a Table — The primary dialog box for creating a new table.
- Formatting a Table — Adding colors and categories for a table used in for displaying data.
- Sorting Data in a Table — Editing formatted tables to adhere to a sort pattern (limited use).
- Table Properties — Editing tools for alignment of the table on the page, width, border, cell padding and cell spacing, and colors.
- Cell Properties — Editing tools for specific cells, including horizontal and vertical alignment of cell contents, background color (cells can be different colors -- but they shouldn't be) and text wrap.
This concludes the tutorial on Contribute.
