Technology Education majors have a unique opportunity to gain PLTW certification while pursuing their degree. Pre-service teacher certification allows you to graduate with certification allowing you to teach PLTW courses to others. With PLTW being taught in an increasing number of classrooms each year, Technology Education majors who graduate with pre-service certification will be strong job candidates.
Currently, these five courses are available for teacher certification:
- Digital Electronics™
- Gateway to Technology™
- Principles of Engineering™
- Computer Integrated Manufacturing™
- Civil Engineering and Architecture™
