Module Eleven: Activity 6
for Reading Certification Students Only
Your Instructor Will Complete the Advanced Programs Disposition Form
As part of the end of course assessment, your instructor will complete the Advanced Programs Disposition Form for each student enrolled in RDGED 702. This is required as part of the Benchmark II review process in the reading teacher certification program.
Please review the following statement of principles from the Director of the School of Education.
The School of Education at UW-Stout is committed that all educators understand the importance of displaying ethical and responsible attitudes and behaviors (i.e., dispositions) as you interact with administrators, faculty, staff, school-based supervisors, peers, families and students.
The School of Education has identified the following characteristics, attitudes, and values as critically important for all education students to demonstrate:
a) a commitment to learning
b) respect for self and others, and
c) a commitment to excellence.
In addition to those listed above, the School of Education endorsed the principle that faculty and staff must prepare students to become educators who use reflection and evidence to address the learning needs of all students.
To help our reading teacher certification students recognize, reflect, and develop their professional dispositions as they work with others, the School of Education conducts regular reviews of all reading teacher certification students at specific benchmark periods.
This benchmarking assessment system will provide students with the opportunity to reflect and continually improve as professional educators.
If you have completed the activities for Module Eleven, including the ePortfolio, you have completed all of the required activities.
