Donald E. Clausen, 91, professor emeritus, UW-Stout’s chemistry department, died Dec. 13, 2006, in Tucson, Ariz.

Henry Redkey, 99, Port Townsend, Wash., died Jan. 3, 2007. His career was dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with disabilities and everyone else he came in contact with. After retiring from the Public Health Service, he came to Stout State University to teach in the rehabilitation department, retiring in 1973.

Robert A. Sedlak, 59, former provost and vice chancellor, died Nov. 7, 2006, at his home in Menomonie after a brief battle with cancer. Sedlak devoted 23 years to UW-Stout and played a key role in the establishment of the School of Education.
