DESIGNATED DRIVER WINS TRIP TO SUPER BOWL XLV

A trip to the Super Bowl with your dad to see the Green Bay Packers bring home the Lombardi Trophy. Priceless.
It really was without price — as in free — for Andrew Muhich and his father, Steve. They won an all-expenses-paid trip to Dallas for Super Bowl XLV in February.

Andrew, a UW-Stout student from Franklin, won the trip in a drawing and with a little help from the Packers. Andrew is a senior majoring in golf enterprise management.

Last fall, he and his father went to a Packers game in Green Bay. Andrew saw a booth for TEAM Coalition, a national nonprofit alcohol awareness organization. Anyone who signed up at the game to be a designated driver would become eligible to win Super Bowl tickets, should their team make it that far.

“When we go to the games, we go for the atmosphere, not the alcohol,” said Andrew, who had turned 21 seven months earlier.

Andrew was notified by email in January, when the playoffs began, that he had won the drawing to represent the Packers. Then, it was just up to the Packers to get him to the Super Bowl, which they did with three straight playoff wins on the road.
