Conducting at Carnegie

Patrick Liebergen, who has been director of choral activities at UW-Stout for 29 years, was invited to conduct his works at Carnegie Hall in New York City last  November.
Accompanying Liebergen for this debut were the UW-Stout Symphonic Singers, a group that included more than 100 current students and alumni—two from the class of 1943 and at least one from every decade up to the present. Liebergen is a prolific composer and widely published choral editor and arranger. He has served as a leader of school and church music, and has appeared throughout the United States and Canada as a judge and clinician.
His numerous publications—including choral collections, cantatas, vocal solo collections, masterwork editions and original choral works—have been performed around the world.
