UW-Stout’s Antrim-Froggatt-McCalmont Hall student government members started a Support the Troops drive for the holidays. The students at several residence halls collected more than 400 personal care and food items and mailed them to U.S. troops overseas Dec. 7.

“The Support the Troops project helped to bring residents together and let them know they were part of a bigger community that could be found just outside the resident halls,” Hannah Rosenthal, a student, said.

Other residence halls participated in the collection, including Tustison-Oetting, North, Milnes-Chinnock, Jeter-Tainter-Callahan, Red Cedar and Curran-Kranzusch.
