University of Wisconsin - Stout

The Career Services Office at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menomonie will hold its annual Career Conference Oct. 6-8, in the university’s Memorial Student Center from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. each day.

Employers attend the three-day conference to talk to students and other job seekers about possible full-time careers, co-ops or internships, and summer jobs.

Tuesday, Oct. 6, will be for undergraduate students in applied mathematics and computer science, applied science, computer engineering, engineering technology, game design and development, graphic communications management, information and communication technology, information technology management, management, manufacturing engineering, packaging, plastics engineering, sustainable management and technical communication. It will also be for graduate students in information and communication technology, manufacturing engineering, risk control, technical and professional communication, technology management, and training and development.

Wednesday, Oct. 7, will be for undergraduate students in apparel design and development, art and design, business administration, human development and family studies, psychology, retail merchandising and management, vocational rehabilitation and all education majors. It will also be for graduate students in applied psychology, career and technical education, education, family studies and human development, technology education, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling, school counseling, school psychology and vocational rehabilitation.

Thursday, Oct. 8, will be for undergraduate students in construction, dietetics, food systems and technology, golf enterprise management, property management, service management and hotel, restaurant and tourism management. It will also be for graduate students in food and nutritional science.

Community members who are seeking full-time professional positions are encouraged to participate in the career conference.
