The University of Wisconsin-Stout will host a panel discussion on the issues faced by instructors when teaching military veterans re-integrating into society and finishing their degrees.
“Teaching Returning Veterans” will be held from 12:20-1:15 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, in the Maplewood and Oakwood rooms of the Memorial Student Center.
The panel is made up of a student veteran, an instructor veteran, a representative of the UW-Stout Counseling Center and the university’s veterans’ coordinator.
The event is being sponsored by the Nakatani Teaching and Learning Center and the University Counseling Center.
