A Height of Adventure!!
STEPS 2005

On Sunday of the first day of the STEPS  program the campers took their first course witch happened to be on the campus  rope course. The first thing we did was building team work with our different teams. We played games that involved team work such as The Mohawk witch we all had to balance on but it finally got completed. Then we went on the high ropes course. such as the climbing wall (60 feet tall!),as seen in this picture.

We also got to do the Alpine  Tower (as seen in the picture to the right) , witch is a very difficult , 60 foot tower filled with terror and self confidence. You can climb on the rock logs, stairs, cargo net, or even ropes!

Here is an other option for the day, The Giant Swing. This swing is only 30 ft. up where a single passenger gets tied up in a harness and gets pulled up into the air by our spotters. You could tell them when to stop pulling you up. When you are ready to drop you say "spotters ready" and you pull a string and fall and get the butterflies in your stomach. We both personally went on and we both have got to say it's an experience we will never forget!
