This was the first day of the second week session at STEPS. The picture above shows Holly, the red team's counsler, attempting to crawl through the "spider web". Ha ha ha, we never knew she had that much hair! If you are wondering, Holly did manage to crawl through one of the bottom holes, but it wasn't this try! In this challenge, you must get your team through every hole in the "spider web" without going through the same hole twice! Oh, one more thing, you can't touch the web or you must go back to your side. Talk about a challenge!
This is yet another picture of the ropes course, with Samantha Kopecky climbing to the top of a very high rock wall! If you're wondering, she made it all the way to the top! Go Sam!

On the second day of STEPS, the red team attended physics, where we learned a ton about air and how it effects us. We learned  about the four different forces that assist in a planes flight. The forces are thrust, drag, air lift, and gravity. We also learned that nitrogen is the most abondent gas in the atmosphere, and even that for every square inch of anything, there is 14.7 pounds being pushed on it from pressure.
In packaging (which came right after physics) we made corigated containers, also known as cardboard boxes, but don't call them cardboard  in front of Ken! We got do decorate them using glitter, foam letters, markers, and glue. Then after that, we used shrink wrap to package gel pens and post-it notes together, and we got to keep them! After that, ken dropped a glass to show us how it breaks and where most pressure is applied!

This in sign-in day, and I'm sure that everybody was a little nervous about this day! C.C. is picking out a blue shirt for someone on the blue team, while a few other girls are shown filling in their names with the hommade stencils.
This is a picture of a little of all four of the teams at the ropes course on the first day.
