Beth gets ready to climb. Brenda is helping her get her harness on.  She looks real excited doesn't she?

Danielle climbs what we call the Carolina Wall, where we rock climb.

The yellow group works as a team. In this picture we are trying to move from one side of the log to the other side without knocking each other off.

Here the yellow team is swinging in the air trying to get from platform to platform without falling off.  At the same time we must bring a cup of pebbles across without spilling a single rock.  The rope is connected to some poles which are firmly planted into the pebbles covering the ground, the pebbles are surrounded by grass which is  surrounded by a fence.  This fence is in Menomonie which is in Wisconsin, Wisconsin is in the United States which is on North America.  North America is surrounded by the Pacific and Atlantic oceans which are on the Earth.  The Earth is in the solar system which is in the Milky Way galaxy which is in the universe. So as you can see it was all very safe and fun.

The yellow and blue teams listen to Pete's instructions before they fly their planes.

On our first day at STEPS, we had an indoor picnic.
