What Our Students Are Saying

"This class has 'pushed' me out of my comfort zone and forced me to try new web 2.0 tools and I’ve really learn a lot about how assessment works in the online environment. The combining and sharing of all the individual talents, which everyone brought to the screen in this class…was a great learning experience for me and an example of what a great online course can be like. "
~ Adina Ness, Dental Hygienist

"Thanks to Datta Kaur for bringing so many new tools within reach and facilitating the proper applications/assessments in online learning. This is likely the most important piece that I will take away and will apply to my future courses. It is imperative, for authentic learning to take place, for the tool to provide a means for accurate assessment of the objective.  All of my colleagues in this class so diligently contributed their expertise to the discussions, so that I might increase my expertise."
~ Traci Skog, Library Assistant

"I feel more comfortable trying new things - actually pressing those buttons to see what else I can do with a tool. I enjoyed our discussions and felt support from everyone in the class. I truly felt like I learned a lot.  Everyone brought more to the material for me with their comments."
~ Melissa Anibas, Nursing Instructor

"My appreciation goes to Dr. Khalsa for the great course that she has created. This course has taught me some great assessment tools that can be used in my future online courses.  I have learned advantages and disadvantages of many of these tools."
~ Dora Szemborski, College Accounting Instructor

"My toolbox runneth over thanks to everyone here. I now have a whole arsenal of tools, a clearer vision of how to use them, and a brain full of ideas."
~ Susan Inak, 30 years in education; Middle School Science Teacher and Media Specialist.
