Boon is a smart travel camera designed to help users be in the moment. This small, magnetic device is wearable and captures events via video and photography throughout the users travels. With the boon app, users can “go live” on their device as well as tune in to other users who are live from around the world. The app will also store all photos and videos. The device uses AI technology to detect facial expressions, historic and unfamiliar landmarks, and much more. Stills can be taken from videos, but boon will also detect good composition and take a photo. The branding of boon came to be through the idea of merging this new technology with past behavior and realism. The goal is to grab the attention of the younger generations who are indulged in todays technology and allow them to still use this technology but not let it take away from their realities. We need to look up, realize what is in front of us and truly experience it.
