Smartmove
Smartmove is helping schools reduce the costs of energy by creating an opportunity for districts to produce their own energy. With Smartmove, energy-harvesting tiles are applied to the various surfaces of a playground, and as children play, pressure is exerted on the tiles and a small electrical current is fed into nearby batteries. The batteries are constantly recharged by the movement of the floor and are used to power parts of the school.

Bangladesh is currently suffering from the largest mass poisoning of a population in history due to arsenic-laden groundwater. Jala believes that everyone has the right to clean water, and this can now be accomplished due to an inexpensive technology provided by UC Berkley. This innovative technology effectively removes high concentrations of arsenic within minutes using readily available materials that others consider waste.

Neem
Gingivitis is a global problem that is difficult to prevent without daily care. Neem dissolvable tablet is taken once daily to help prevent gingivitis, organically, and at low cost. It is a small dissolvable tablet made of Neem leaf, which comes from the Neem tree that is native to India. The tablet dissolves in your mouth coating your teeth and gums and killing plaque to prevent gingivitis.

Nourish
Nourish is a very affordable program that assists families in eating healthy. The Nourish card uses RFID tags to track food purchases and collect statistics about your family/personal eating habits. There is an accompanying website and application to track nutritional history. The website and application will give you recipe suggestions and help you build a grocery list based off of your monthly budget. Nourish makes eating healthy simple.

Secret Assist
Secret Assist's goal is to help out in anti-trafficking casework to secure and protect children who are forced into commercial sexual activity. RFID tags will be inserted into the hands of children sending out signals, so that they can be located more efficiently. Using the evidence produced by Secret Assist technology, officials will be able to find and retrieve victims of sex trafficking. Freeing these victims and preventing future abductions.

Currently 3.5 million Americans 40 years or older are legally blind with an additional 50 thousand becoming blind annually. Eyeful offers a restorative vision solution to those suffering from retinal degenerative diseases. Through the use of nanotechnology, a biochip is surgically implanted into the eye. This implant acts as a retinal prosthesis allowing clients to see again.
